1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Application, personalize your experience, and improve functionality.

Account Information

• Email address and password used to register or sign in.
• Passwords are handled securely by our authentication provider; we do not store passwords in plain text.

Profile Information (Optional)

• Full name
• Phone number
• (Only if you choose to provide these in the Profile section.)

Onboarding and Investment Profile

• Age range (for example: 18–24, 25–34)
• Occupation
• Income range
• Financial literacy level
• Investment experience level
• Investment goals
• Risk tolerance
• Monthly investment range

App-Generated Data

• Last login date
• Login streak (consecutive days), used to support in-app features
• Selected currency preference

Wealth and Financial Data (User-Entered)

• Assets and their values (stocks, real estate, cash, crypto, etc.)
• Liabilities and their values (loans, mortgages, etc.)
• Monthly investment contributions and dates
• Wealth goals and target amounts
• Net worth history

This data is entered manually by the user. ARC AI does not connect to any bank accounts, brokerage accounts, or financial institutions. We never access real financial accounts.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Payment or banking details
• Government-issued identification
• Social Security numbers
• Precise or approximate location data
• Health data
• Detailed device or usage tracking such as time spent on screens, device model, or operating system
• (Except anonymized analytics data in production builds as described in Section 3.)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate and improve Arc AI. This includes:

• Creating and managing your account
• Personalizing portfolio allocation and investment calculator outputs
• Displaying your profile and login streak within the Application
• Improving application performance and fixing bugs

Data Storage

Some data (assets, liabilities, contributions, goals) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and synced to our secure Supabase database when you are online. This allows your wealth data to be restored if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

Push Notifications

The app may request permission to send local scheduled notifications. These are generated entirely on your device using your locally stored wealth data. No notification content is transmitted to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time under Profile → Preferences → Daily Reminders or in your device Settings.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or location-based services.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only in limited circumstances:

Service Providers

• Supabase: Used for authentication and database storage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Firebase Analytics (production builds only): Used to understand general usage patterns such as screen views and onboarding completion.
• Firebase Analytics is not enabled in development or Expo Go builds.
• We do not use Firebase Crashlytics or Performance Monitoring.
• Analytics data is subject to Google's privacy practices.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect legal rights, user safety, or public safety.

4. Data Retention and Opt-Out

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

You may stop further data collection by uninstalling the Application.

To request deletion of all your data including your Supabase account, wealth data, and profile information, contact us at the email in Section 9. We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days of your request. Note that uninstalling the app removes locally stored data but does not automatically delete your Supabase account data.

Development and Testing

In development or testing environments, analytics services do not run and no identifiable user data is sent to Firebase.

5. Security Measures

We use encryption, secure hosting through Supabase, and access controls to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Children's Privacy

Arc AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. When updates are made, the "Last updated" date will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.

8. Your Consent

By using Arc AI, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, you should discontinue using the Application.
